Speaking
The first thing your child does is speak. Consistent practice, role-play and interactive work — from the first lesson, at every age and level.
Ages 3–16
Give your child the gift of growing up speaking Arabic.
Arabic the way it’s meant to be — fun, memorable and easy.
مركز اللغة العربية
To teach the Arabic Language to current and future generations, using the Maliha Wehbe method, which enables students to learn Arabic in a simplified and friendly manner, while appreciating its inherent logic and beautiful cultures.
Maliha WehbeFounder
We’ve been teaching Arabic to kids and teens in Dubai for over 38 years — the sister school of the Arabic Language Centre, established in 1980. Our founder, Maliha Wehbe, designed her own methodology to teach children spoken Arabic.
Most kids find Arabic difficult or boring and never learn to speak it — because traditional methods lean on heavy grammar and memorisation.
Maliha built something different: a curriculum that reveals the logic of Arabic through geometry and patterns, so that the concepts are simple and fun to understand.
That’s why speaking is at the heart of every class. Through games, songs, role-plays and quizzes, we use as much Arabic as possible — so kids grow up comfortable making mistakes and speaking with confidence and ease.

What the term covers

The first thing your child does is speak. Consistent practice, role-play and interactive work — from the first lesson, at every age and level.

Maximal Arabic, minimal English. The best way to learn a language is to live in it, so the classroom becomes the country.

The letters become familiar before they become work. Word games, matching and reading aloud, rather than drill.

Formed properly from the very first letter. Handwriting built through activity, so it is learnt properly without becoming a chore.
Each session includes:

Parents are the reason most families find us — and the reason their children come back term after term.
It is the question we are asked most, and the one the method is built around. Children learn Arabic by using it — games, role-play, conversation — not by copying from a board. Mistakes are encouraged, so no child sits in silence worrying about getting it wrong. The video above is an ordinary morning.
Spoken Arabic first — a blend of Levantine dialect and Modern Standard Arabic. Your child learns the Arabic actually used in daily life, with MSA underneath it for grammatical strength and for reading and writing.
By age and by Arabic level, not by age alone. A ten-year-old beginner and a ten-year-old who already hears Arabic at home do not belong in the same room. Groups are 10–12 children.
Two make-up sessions are included in every term. Family life and term time do not always align, and missing a week should not mean falling behind.
Referral, sibling and new-joiner rates are available. Speak to our Academic Advisor about what applies to your family.
Places are limited to 10–12 a class, and groups are set by age and level before the term begins.
